When the kids won't sit still and I am in the mood to take pictures, my poor husband gets flashburns! He was a sport this day! He was actually outside grilling a pork loin and I kept bugging him to look at me! I finally got a good shot! And he even likes it!! Thanks hunny!

Well, we are full force into baseball season now. Luckily, I have been able to take a few pictures at a couple of the games. Thanks to grandparents for helping with Cooper. I can't take pictures and watch Cooper. So I wanted to share a couple. We actually lost this game (boo!) but it was still very fun to watch. This games was in Starke last week. It was a nail biter!

This past week has been a very eventful week for us. We are struggling with a list a things right now, but I know that it will all work out. I went from being very discouraged to VERY thankful! I am learning more and more that it's not always my plan or Kenny's plan that is the Right plan, it's God's plan! We are learning that the hard way I guess! But at least we learning. It is getting better everyday and I pray that it continues.

On another note...... the boys! Oh boy! Well its no secret how rough and tough Cooper is. It always seems that he is hurting Trey. We always punish Cooer for these acts, whether it's hitting, biting, kicking....and so on. Well, sfter Trey's baseball game Thursday night, Cooper was playing with Trey's bat. Sure enough, he wacked Trey right on the top of the head. Trey went down crying. Cooper was crying too! Trey finally recieved justice this weekend. Sunday, Cooper came running out of his room with one of those big yellow plastic bats. He was swinging it at everyone. But all we could was laugh becasue it's so Cooper!!!! He decided to give Trey a turn. Cooper was holding a plastic ball and Trey swung the bat. Trey was swinging full force and Cooper moved the wrong way. The bat smacked Cooper right on the side of his eye. Cooper was screaming and Trey was crying because he didn't mean to hurt him. It was awful! Cooper didn't get a black eye, but he did get a nice strawberry! That's why you don't play with bats in the house! Or that's why Cooper should never play with a bat! But for once it was Trey that hurt Cooper and not the other way around.

It's been a busy couple of weeks for me. I have had a few Jewelry shows and this weekend I have a Regional Conference in Lakeland. I am rally looking forward to this b/c we get new Jewelry! Cooper has kept us REALLY busy! Yesterday he decided to brush his teeth by himself. When I found him, he had smeared half of the tube of toothpaste in the sink! Then I look over in the bathtub and I guess he felt the need to "relieve" himself in tub instead of the toilet. At least it wasn't on the front porch! Oh, the joys of potty training!

This morning Cooper lost is mind for moment. He was holding the front door open an I told him to close it. He looked and me said "No!" I went over and popped him on the behind. He then threw himself on the floor and screamed. I calmly walked to away, trying to ignore this behavior. He didn't like that so he stood up and ran behind me and bit me on the butt! I popped him once again and put him in his bed or an attitude adjustment! I don't know what to do with this kid!!!

First Post

OK, I have been inspired by a couple of close friends to start a blog. So here we go! This is my first post and I am already feeling like I should go back and "catch up"! Goodness, how can you get behind on something you just started! I think that's the story of my life! I think I need to begin a new outlook. One of my resolutions this year is to be more positive. I read something just today that said something to effect of....Go out of your way to be extra nice because you never know the other person's struggle. Boy, isn't that the truth. As bad as it may seem sometimes, someone else's problems are far worse than my own. It could always be worse, even though sometimes it doesn't seem like it. Also, someone recently said to me, "You can't have a bad day unless you choose to." You have to make a conscious effort to see the positive side of everything in order to be a positive person. That's my goal, to focus on the positive and not let the negative take over.
